One of a kind mixed media print created with acrylic paint, graphite, ink, and used bicycle gears on paper. The paper is sealed, waxed, and mounted onto a cradled birch wood panel. I then round and sand the corners of the wood, stretch a recycled bicycle tube around the edge for a frame and finish with deconstructed bicycle chain and cable for hanging. A time consuming process, but one that imbues the spirit of cycling across the entirety of the piece.
