A Pear and a Lemon is a fun exploration of texture and color. I started by gluing a piece of river birch to the canvas, painting over it, then sanding back layers to reveal the golden amber hues of the bark. The pear and lemon just sort of appeared which made me think of the similarities of cooking and painting! Experimenting can lead to amazing discoveries!
Painting is 6 x 6, framed it is 7.5 x 7.5 x 2. Frame is a solid wood gallery floater frame.
